This was getting worse and worse.
Ashstar looked around him. Dead twigs and trees casted dark, desolate shadows on the abandoned land. Their clans were not starting out good at all. Already many deaths had taken place, including his deputy, Foxleaf. Sighing, the elderly leader made a move twoards the three oaks that stood in the middle of the forest. Only three Clans. There had always been three Clans. But what about RiverClan? Ashstar felt guilty about leaving them, but it was a rare occurance that another group of cats had ever been in the territory. A muffled hiss escaped the ThunderClanner, and he took his place on the old stump. It had an etched thunderbolt on it, and claw marks scarred the rough bark. Now he just had to wait for the others to come.

The she-cat stomped across the field, her tired teal eyes glowing with an uncomfortable light. The she-cat has a tiresome day; and a moonlight gathering with the other leaders didn't alleviate her aching muscles. The cat was relatively young, though, in this case, it didn't matter.
Claritystar spotted the ThunderClan leader a few feet away from her, and she gave a sheepish grin in the tom-cat's presence. He was older than herself, though, he still remained incredibly good looking. She could feel her body; she was shaking in her calico coat, just looking at his tense, muscular form, shining against the silver moon. He was perfectly good looking; she was sort of surprised that he hadn't found a mate. Of course . . . the clan lands were so empty, that that surprise was dulled down a bit. There were so few cats, that even the most gorgeous tom would find it hard to get a female to chase after him.
The clans were even lucky to have some leaders and one Deputy . . . This clans were in serious trouble, though, in Claritystar's opinion.
Claritystar's paws grazed the ground as she danced along; surprisingly light on her feet, despite the long day and the muscle pain. "Hey, Ashstar. Where are the others?" Claritystar's voice was light and bouncy; her teal eyes not hiding her curious, flooding emotions.
This . . would prove to be an interesting meeting between the cats. Claritystar had no idea if all of them would even show up; she was curious.

The strong creme coloured deputy of RiverClan padded towards ThreeTrees. ThreeTrees, he hated that name. There were no longer 3 Clans in the territory; there were 4. The name would soon be changed, he thought. He cleared his head of his thoughts, and focussed on the current task. He had been invited by Ashstar to attend a meeting between him and the other leaders. Since Nimbustorm was the only form of leadership that RiverClan had, he couldn't refuse. As he neared the sacred grounds, the scent of ThunderClan and WindClan flooded his nostrils. He took a deep breath, calmed himself, and entered the clearing. Almost like magnets on metal, Nimbustorm's lustrous blue orbs immediately found themselves gazing at Claritystar.
"Greetings, Ashstar. Claritystar- how are the prey running in WindClan." He found himself being rude, not posing a question to Ashstar, but ever since his encounter with Claritystar on WindClan territory, all he could think about was the beautiful leader. He took his place on the other side of Claritystar. As his fur warmed, he awaited the hard stare he expected from Ashstar.
