[I hear... a voice say "Don't be so blind"...]
Crunch. The sound of leaves being tread on echoed around the dark forest. Squawk! A blackbird calling an alarm as a sign of danger. Snap. A branch shattered under paw. Then as if some force commanded it…the whole forest went silent. Fangs were glimpsed under the moonlight as a malicious smirk crept over the tom’s face. Lately the tom had slipped out of his normal easygoing nature and into an indifferent persona.
[It's telling me all these things that you would probably hide...]
A howl in the distance made Grayshadow raise his head and ears pricked forward observant for any signs of danger. Something made him on the edge lately. Almost the simplest things made him go off. What caused it? He honestly didn’t know but the tom really didn’t care at the moment. It was time for the old Grayshadow to come back, the brave, noble, and leader material that would do anything to become leader. He was more self-assured in himself than he was in the past.
[Am I... your one and only desire...]
His figure slithered in the shadows avoiding the moonlit paths. A mouse crossed the trail and froze to pick up a seed from the ground, which was the poor creature’s downfall. The tom took little time in pouncing on the furred rodent, ending its life. The muscular dark tabby bent his head and took large bites until there was nothing left but bones and unappealing bits of fat. Leaving the blood on his jaws, the male trotted on with a wicked grin on his chops which soon faded.
[Am I the reason you breathe...]
A voice in the back of his mind told him to run and so he did. Paws scarcely grazed the earth as the ashen colored male’s velocity increased. The breeze whistled through his fur faintly which increased with his speed. There was no reason for his sprinting perhaps for the thrill of it but that was basically it. Blood roared in his ears as his heart pumped against his chest profoundly. Soon out of nowhere he skidded to a stop and panted with slight tediousness.
[Or am I the reason you cry...]
Grayshadow allowed a crooked smirk spread on his mouth. He felt reinvigorated which made the tabby feel stronger than before. Flopping on the soiled earth, the ShadowClan warrior scrutinized his surroundings. Hauling himself up to saunter over to the creek and lowered his head to drink greedily as if he hadn’t drank in days. Muscles tensed as he scented mixed scents of the two other Clans faltered in his snout. Of course there’d be whiffs of them by since he was in fact near the border. Letting his eyes roll at his paranoia, Grayshadow started washing his fur, thought zooming through his mind from ambition to his old friend.
[As I walk out your door... all I can hear is the sound...]
Well those thoughts ended deliberately as he pushed them away. The tom wanted no negative thoughts in his psyche at the moment. Grayfur still lingered in his mind like a juicy vole, but the only depressing thought was about Hawkpaw who was one of his best friends who had passed away. Cranium shook as the tom shook away the depressing feelings. Clouds drifted under they covered the moon, making it even darker than it once was. That’s how Grayshadow felt. Always.

Blackstorm xx
A massive black tom thundered through the undergrowth. Twigs cracked, and leaves were crushed under is monsterous paws. The moon shone through the trees, casting an eerie light on ShadowClan's territory. Brambles tugged at his smooth pelt as he crashed through a bush, in pursuit of his prey...a rabbit. Rabbits were very rare to find in his territory, and wicked fast. But even with his massive size he still managed to keep up with the small creature.
Silver claws dug into the ground for traction, and he sped up. Thick muscles coarsed through his broad shoulders as they carried him closer to the rabbit. Finally he had the chance. Blackstorm tensed up his hind legs and jumped. He soared through the air, and landed squarly ontop of the rabbit. With one swift bite to the neck, it was dead.
The forest was quiet, and the ShadowClan deputy seized the moment. Leaning down he began to devour the rabbit in a few large bites. The unfamilier taste made him gag, but he still ate it. After he was finished he burried the bones, and continued on. His paws tread lightly on the ground, making no sound. He was famished...in need of water.
Suddenly the tom veered left, and headed towards the creek for a drink. In minutes he was there, but the tom froze. His cold silver eyes focused on a gray tom nearby. His eyes flashed as he relized who it was. "Hello Grayshadow" he said in a icy, but calm voice.
Sounds from behind him made the gray tabby lash his tail and turn his head to find that Blackstorm, the deputy of their Clan standing there. Ears nearly flew back with annoyance but they only twitched with interest as emotionless crystal blue eyes gazed at the dark deputy.
"Evening Blackstorm." even though only two words were spoken, the coldness was obvious. The muscular gray tabby slowly rose to his paws and gave a somewhat respectful nod to the ShadowClan deputy. "What brings you all the way out here?" gaze was filled with calmness and a crooked smirk made its way on his muzzle. Seemed that the gray male always had that smirk on his face. It amused Grayshadow that it annoyed others which was the main reason he did it.

({I can feel the Pressure})
The cold reply that Blackstorm got in return made him laugh. He sat down wrapping his coal colored tail neatly around his huge paws. Silver claws dug into the wet earth as his liquid silver gaze settled on crystal blue. A half smile appeared on his maw, which was unusual for this icy tom. The black male relaxed and made his face emotionless once more. It was really none of Grayshadow's buisness what he was doing, but it didnt really matter.
({Its getting closer now})
"Well if you must know, I was chasing a rabbit." he paused remembering the taste. "I dont know how WindClan can stand those foul tasting creatures" the deputy finished, and with one swift movement he was in front of Grayshadow, their noses almost touching. "Whatever else I was doing, is none of your buisness." His eyes bore into Grayshadow's one moment more, then he laughed and skirted around the gray tom.
({I think its better})
Leaning down he drunk the musty water of the creek. He was greedy and took large gulps. Once the tom was satisfied he stood up and licked his maw, erasing any traces of the water. His mind was racing with thoughts. Of RiverClan...and other things that he wished he didnt think of. Shaking his massive cranium, the black tom turned around facing Grayshadow. He sat down once more. "What brings you all the way out here?" the deputy repeated Grayshadow's question in a cold, emotionless voice.
